hi all, its an MY00 with grease around the driveshaft where it meets the gearbox... ive heard this was a warranty thing b4?, and a different grade of grease will fix it, should i be worried? no funny noises yet... some sort of air holes which leak but are ok to be plugged?

Cheers

Why not just put a new CV boot on it?

replacing the driveshaft boot wont fix it, as it is not leaking from the boot. the grease is simply self pressurising it self out via the centre drilling in the shaft. the only fix I'vce ever heard of is to remove, clean, refill and refit, "pat customer on head" and await its next return, as all models from 00my have the later grease installed from factory.
