Irregular acceleration
#1
Hi Everybody!,
Need some advice.
For the last few days I've been noticing a strange effect in the Scooby. Under constant throttle acceleration, enough to get the turbo on, but not foot to the floor stuff, acceleration has become irregular.
Acceleration comes in surges. Listening carefully with the radio off I think the turbo is spinning up and then slowing down then speeding up and slowing down again etc…………….. It takes maybe 2-4 seconds to cycle through this once.
Its quite subtle and not so noticeable if I accelerate harder but then I can’t hear what is going on because there is too much engine noise.
I want to know what is wrong.
Anybody come across this before? Before anyone asks it’s a MY00 with full dealer SH, no recent changes to anything and no previous faults.
Cheers
