On the Suby Engine, What pipes should be plumbed to an Oil catch tank??

a) The pipe(s) from the rocker cover and /or
b) The crankcase vent that is under the Inlet manifold?

In the Haynes manual it has a schematic that shows air being drawn into the engine via pipes (a) and expelled thru (b). This is confusing as in reality these pipes seem reversed on my car WRT the intake plumbing. ie pipe B takes off from resonator after MAf and pipe a is just before turbo Inlet.

Any ideas, suggestions??

Thanks
