I know its been done to death but I can get some 10w40 Carlube fully synth for £12 + vat. Is that ok for a bog standard MY98 UK 2000 turbo with 72k on the clock?

.....or should I use this Castrol RS 10w60 I have hanging around somewhere?

Castrol RS 10/60 is the best if you can get it.
