O2 sensor on 2002 WRX
#2
thanks 4 the reply, I'll check out the colours at the ecu, but that sounds right !(white at the sensor changes to blue etc).
Are the pins numbered?
Are they left to right?
etc.
maybe i can fit the o2 fix in the car now (get rid of the fault light).

Hi,
Only 2 of them are connected to the ECU, the other one are 12V (for heater) and ground. The white one is the signal (0 to 0.9V), linked to connector B135 pin no. 17 (wire color at connector is White) and sheilded to pin no. 26 (usualy wire color at connector is light blue). The blue one is the heater signal (0 to 1.0V) linked to connector B136 pin no. 13 (wire color at connector is Red and White). The ground is connected near the ECU and use a shared ground for other sensors. In this case, the ground will come out the ECU by using connector B135 pin no. 19 (wire color at connector is Red and green) and will be linked to shared ground connector.

Hope this will help you!
Francois.
P.S. Wire colors at connector is for North american WRX, maybe in Europe it can be different.
