Question

Hi,

I'm currently running a MY98 UK Turbo, with ITG Panel Filter, TSL Centre Section and BackBox (4"GrpN). (I've other mods too, but these are the engine ones).
I'd like to improve the power some more, so am considering a replacement DownPipe. I know that this will make the car noisier, but:
a) anyone got a view as to how much ?
b) will it add much to the power ?

Also, what's the general view on the DP, or should I save a bit more cash and go for some other mods, e.g. ECU, instead ?

I am concerned about the MOT, but I guess I could keep the old DP (and I've probably still got the old centre section) and get someone to re-fit it prior to MOT (?)

Anyone got any experiences to share ?

TIA,

Mark

Question

I've also read somewhere that certain places will fit the centre section prior to MOT, MOT it and then remove said section....

Anyone know if this is true, and where near north staffs it's done ?

Also, How much ?
