ecu help spot the differance

got a proplem with my ecu from my 93 wrx when hot it doesnt start that well and is lumpy and smells rich for a few seconds,so i swaped ecu with a 94 wrx and its fine but the ecu from the 94 wrx wont boost over .5 bar so i aint got one good one between them, also i want to know if the left one has been chipped the one on the left is 93 wrx and the right one is 94 wrx , 93 one has a piggy bank board bottom right of ecu 2"x2" which is fixed to the blank space bottom far right and covers the 3 chips shown cant really see that well in pic , has any on seen one like this b4 and can i put an ecu from a 95 wrx with 260 bhp on mine 240 bhp safley .
