Quite fancy having the favoured early-warning device added, but since I'd like it to be a permanent fixture was wondering if there are any competitors with a similar product that understand the word "subtle"
Basically I like the idea of a knocklink but the only way they could make it more hideous would be painting it Cinquecento yellow A small box with a few LEDs would be much neater to permanently install in the car.... does anyone do such a thing (just like you can get lambdalink clones that are much neater and smaller)?

I'm sure there are competing products.
Why dont you just get a full ECU with LCD that will tell you knock level, inj duty cycle, ignition timing etc? Or a Camp?

I have built the monitor that AndrewC designed, which will show knock correction from the ECU's data. However I'm not sure if this is as good as a proper knock link... particularly the sensor (think the knock link's own sensor is more accurate)?
