Having just read all the threads and just purchased a MYo1 classic shape wagon with PPP, Im I right in saying that the PPP is more detrimental on enginge life than the power engineering remapping etc. If so why does Subaru accept PPP as not invalidating the warranty, or is it just one of those "" subaru keeps PPP in buisness things" What benifits would there be in swapping to the power engineering remap over PPP

I would say the other way around, or at least equal to that of other mods.

Subaru would not allow the PPP as warranty repair if they were going to get loads of claims on it. Therefore it must be as reliable as the standard cars engine. Prodrive are Subaru's motorsports partner and therefore both companies benefit from the PPP.

A large focus of the work Prodrive do is on the reliability aspect(see above).

IMHO there is no point in going the PE route if you are a, happy with your car asis and b, you are prepared to void the warranty.
