Hi guys,

Just done a few delta dash logs on my JDM STi-7. Car is just flying in this cold weather (currently 15 degrees C outside), almost as cold as it gets here

Question: Can anyone confirm the highest reading for boost that the delta dash will give for the new STI MY2001 / 2 cars ?? I think someone said that it is around 18.4; however, the highest I saw (both absolute<--less14.8psi and regular) was 18.0 psi even. The strange thing is my GReedy manual boost guage shows a high of 19.3 psi in 4th and 5th gear. I guess the manual boost guage is slightly off ?

Besides that the logs look superb, all positive knock correction and no boost spikes at all. (Scooby Sport full turbo back decat with restrictor seems to work perfectly, thanks again Pete ). I only am getting up to about 14 psi in 1st and 2nd gear, about 15.5 in 3rd and 17- 18 psi in 4th and 5th. Although I think I could go a little higher with the boost I perfer to error on the safe side due to my hot climate and only 98 RON gas. My car runs rich as can be though, any time the throttle is floored or heavy acceleration the sucker is running 1.00 - 1.025 O2....oh well...better safe than sorry....I really hope my engine never lets go, everything looks so perfect on the delta dash....

Any insight is welcome, I can even post the delta dash if someone has an email that I can send it to that knows how to chop it down to size etc...

Oh, don't forget the DD max boost question

Big thanks,
Ray

Correct, 18.4 is max boost that can be read from Delta Dash 'manifold relative pressure' data source. Have you downloaded latest version from EcuTek - not sure, but maybe this provides a new data source which shows absolute pressure up to (I think!) 22psi over atmospheric (FlashXX instals get a few additional data points required for mapping, hence I can't say for sure).

Thanks Dowser, anyone else can confirm this as well as the possible new update reading to 22 psi ?

Cheers,
Ray
