Question

I have a MY93 WRX and as part of a front entry conversion im thinking of fitting an oil catch tank and venting this to atmosphere (crankcase and rocker cover). I also have a VTA dump valve and the only other line going into the inlet pipe (apart from the ISCV) is from the boost soleniod area (i think). This however goes straight into the bottom of my K+N. Therefore i was thinking of doing a turbo inlet pipe with no inputs (i.e made from samco hose, reducer and 90deg elbow with ali pipe). Would the ISCV operate if vented to atmos? I see jo rerason why it won't but maybe im missing something?

Cheers,

Tony.

Assuming you are using JECS ECU, the MAF meter needs to see the Idle air flow therefore you need to have it tapped in to the intake system.
