Just fited my Blitz dump valve, Love the sound but under hard acceleration I have had the engine cut as though I had turned off the ignition. Back off and the cars as right as rain. It idles smoothly but when going top gun in second or third I have these problems. Anyone any Ideas ??? Over boosint maybe ??

Hi
Might be wrong but sounds more like the fuel cut if you are flooring it for 3-4 secs, had this when setting up Dawes lately.Have Blitz on mine but dont get that problem, but it does hunt for revs when dumping the clutch though.

Yeah that defo sounds like over boost. Ive never head of the cause being anything to do with a dumpvalve though, usualy attrib to cold/dense air.

I would check all the pipes around where you were fitting the DV, you may have knocked something loose?

Refit the std DV and see if you still have the problem?

Check all jubile clips are tight and all vac hoses are in place.

Well there you have it ! the small pipe had worked loose that connects to boost thingy.. Put it back on and Perfect.

What a noise P1 back box + Blitz ADV = Popos and bangs on overrun and a fantastic DV noise... Deep Joy

Many thanks for the advice and assistance ... Eeza
