I know this should be in Susp forum but feel it will get more viewing in here
So... i am changing every bush on my car and have just purchased 2 lower ball joints (£11) as i want to change everything i can whilst i have the wishbones off etc.
My question is.. has anybody removed their Lower Balljoints DIY or is this a strictly Engineering job?? ie. pressed out rather than hit out?
Thanks for any help

Sorry I can't help - I've only ever popped them apart to remove driveshafts. Where did you get them from? I may need some in the near future for a similar reason to you - and then I'll need to know how to fit them...

Thanks

I got them from a friend who owns a car spares co.
Now ive got the balljoints in front of me it doesnt look like they press in and out as they have a groove in them which would indicate a bolt holding them in...??
Gonna have a look in the light tomorrow and fit them...
Will post details when i have done em..
