Red face

I've just had the HKS un-equal length manifold fitted to my new age WRx, plus Scooby Sport pre-turbo decat, Power Engineering system with sports cat and Blitz backbox. It makes lots of noise and lots of power (sounds like a motorbike and pulls very hard from 3,000!). It's also running an induction kit and dawes device, but standard ECU. I was wondering if the ECU map would make the car run lean with all these mods - anyone know for sure?
The backbox does seem slightly cleaner than it used to be and not as black as other scooby's I've seen.

It's likely to be running rich low-down (well, below 4000rpm) & lean above. The possible problems will be slightly offset as the VE will have increased at the point that it goes lean - obviously not a fix, but will reduce the problems that running lean will cause! I'd either Delta-Dash or stick in an AFR meter/knock 'viewer' just to make sure, though.
But you're likely best off with a remap with the manifold so that you can properly take advantage of it, irrespective of if running lean! And a bigger turbo...

Chip will be next on the shopping list so that will sort it. I'll just avoid flat out blasts till then.

If you're going to get a re-map anyway, you should get & fit a lambdalink/knocklink anyway - you'll need them then, and they'd be good to have now as well!
