HI GUYS, I HAVE READ ABOUT PUTTING AN UPRATED STI PANEL FILTER IN THE AIR BOX OF A STI V5 AND HAVE READ ABOUT SUM FILTERS CAUSING PROBLEMS WITH MAFS ETC ETC. WONDERED WERE CAN GET ONE FROM PRICE AND WILL PUTTING ONE IN CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH ECU WILL IT NEED TO BE RE-MAPPED. IS THE PART NO STI654645000 FOR THIS FILTER AND IS IT RE-USEABLE,CAN BE CLEANED OUT. READ BOUT THIS FILTER ON THEAD BOUT RUSS P CAR BLOWING UP AS MINE TO HAS DONE THE SAME EARLY THIS YEAR.I AM ALSO THINKIN OF PUTTIN A CENTRE SECTION AND BACK BOX ON IT BOTH OF 3" SIZE WILL THIS KNACKER UP ECU? If its an official STi filter then you should have no problems what so ever
John Felstead has STi filters fitted on his car (an STI 5 Type RA V-Ltd) so if you need any more info have a chat with him (hes a moderator and his email can be found in gentec i think or drivetrain).
