With a Dawes dewice you can raise your boost.
More boost more power.
Maybe 20hp if set to max.
I think not more than 17psi.

i cant tell you exact figures but i can tell you this much: adding the dawes increased my power so much that my clutch could no longer handle the power, a real topic starter at dinner parties i can tell you. Now stop your questions and put it on already!!! jooooiiiinnnn uuuussss.

Question

What's a safe setting below 17 psi that will still enable good power gain?

Was thinking 1 or perhaps 1.2 bar would do it?

well, im running 1 bar at the moment and thats pretty good, but im planning to run at 1.1 once the clutch has been replaced with a non-crap one. like you, im all up for speed but im dead against seeing bits of my engine flying out the back in traffic jams so 1.1 is what im going for, just to be safe. they say that you can (and many have without problems) run at 1.3 but my pants would give way long before my engine i think. as memeory serves 1.176 is the fuel cut on the 94 wrx which is what ive got. if you havent got an air/fuel meter thingy too id thoroughly reccomend one, if only for the disco/ epilepsy inducing strobing effects alone.

best of luck matey.

ps. surely there must be better things to do at 2.50 am on a friday morning? were pretty sad huh? damn you nytol and your slow response time!!
