Question

All

Picked up a 2nd hand ProDrive BB at the weekend. (Thanks ScoobyK ... bit of autosolve and it looks like new)

Does anyone know of a good exhaust fitting centre local to the Brighton(ish) area that will fit the BB on the car for me?

I've heard there may be a person on the BBS called TT or TonToe that could help?

I've got a standard UK MY99 Wagon.

Thanks

J.

A backbox will take about 20 mins to fit yourself, get a new gasket and possibly two new nuts & bolts. Really is not a problem.

Agree with jjay, if you can work a door lock, you can fit a pipe

Thanks for the words of encouragement

I've had bad times with stuck on parts before. Radiator pipes on an old automatic Vauxhall Carlton gave me grey hair. Had to cut the b*gers off! Messy.

I've got a few local garages to try, but if anyone else knows of anywhere (Sussex or even up Gatwick way is fine by me) please add to this thread.

J,

Im new to the scooby world, before that I have done a lot with caterhams.

I can recommend my local garage, he's known as the best in UK for caterhams, and runs a normal garage as well as the caterham racing side of things.

It's in shoreham, so just up the road for you:
Western Road Garage

Sean

I'm only 20 mins away from Shoreham so that'll do nicely! I'll give them a ring.

Have you been to the Sussex meet at Peaspottage since owning your Scoob? I was talking with an RB5 owner at the last one and didn't get his name ... just thought it might be you.

Thanks again.

J.
