Question

Howdy all,

I'm considering a boost controller and was wondering what type of MAP values you guys are running on stock STI's and if there has been any detonation problems.

Anyone have Dyno charts with MAP/RPM/kW?

I picked up a auto-waterspray and love it. My trips now go something like this...

squirt - buzzzz. squiiiiirt - buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I think I'll pick up a knock sensor soon! I've been looking at this http://210.15.220.239/html/my02sti/pics/stiactuator.gif which is a neat little idea from AVO in Australia.

Looks like it runs around 15.5 PSI at 5,000, then holds about 14.5 PSI till redline. Should be ok?

(See http://210.15.220.239/html/my02sti/project_sti_base.html for more information)
