Exhaust and De-cat advice please...
#1
Has anyone here had a TSL Motorsport exhaust fitted - specifically the De-Cat Downpipe/Primary CAT bypass?
I'd appreciate what you think of it & if anyone knows how they compare with the Magnex or Scoobysport?
Also, is there any problem with using a twin dump downpipe (which I believe the Magnex are) rather than an open neck downpipe?
Cheers,
Darren

I have just got in from the garage having just fitted a TSL grp A downpipe on my MY 00, took me about 2 hours from start to finish, it is absolutely awesome, I have a magnex mid (with resonator) and rear box and the sound now is just perfect, and talk about more go
Should have done it years ago
As for the differance between Magnex, scoobysport and TSL it would probably be pretty hard to feel a discernable differance, I reckon, maybe only a few HP between them, if that.

Darren,
yes it was the open necked I fitted, I bought it second hand so only paid £ 100, cheers DMB
Also fitted a new gasket which cost £14 from Cheam motors.
Used plenty of penetrating oil on the turbo studs and nuts whilst undoing, and put plenty of good quality anti sieze when refitting.
Do it, you won't regret it.
cheers
