not quite but...
I need to get rid of the lag.. or bring my torque curve lower down the rev range...
Lets have your suggestions... Nitrous is fitted for this at the moment.. but awaiting 25bhp jets..

Correct AFR and lots of ignition advance with a high wastegate solenoid duty cycle. If you do this to a VF22 you can push it over the surge line. When I say correct AFR this usually is richer than the factory map where a lot of them have a nasty lean spot, particularly if you have breathing mods.
... and if I dare to say it a turbo that is not too big. On a UK car you really want to be making good torque by 4000 RPM or your power band will be rather narrow - headline figures may be better but for road use area under the torque curve is all.
Andy F had good results with the combination of straight entry to the TD05 and an uppipe. However, don't listen to either of use because we have both had bits of compressor wheel missing

The way it is done on the earlier cars is to T off the pipe that connects the IC to the inlet manifold and feed this pipe into the ISC.
What this does is keep the inlet manifold feed with boosted air, when the throttle is closed.
To map anti lag, you only fire every fifth time and fire very, very late. The lack of ignition means the manifold gets full of air/fuel charge and then the late burn from a fired cylinder lights the whole lot up in the manifold, spinning the turbo.
I take absolutely no responsibility for anything to do with you trying this

Have you tried that??

Some anti-lag system use an injector on the exhuast manifold. You spray in a little fuel that vaporizes when it hits the hot manifole, thereby cuasing the turbo to spool up. This works great if you have a de-cat system, but it can ruin a cat.

Get an auto box (or 2)....or bin the FMIC and fit a TMIC charge cooler
You already have the uppipe and ported headers, I found that with this plus turbo front entry mod and 3" ex system allowed boost of over 1 bar at just over 2500rpm. You should get 300+lb of torque from 3000rpm at 1.5 bar.
Now I have the FMIC however I would also be interested in any ways of decreasing lag between gears, this has increased relative to the C/Cooler set up

Andy,
what sort of boost did you get without the front entry? As on david's car, everything else is there, but nowhere near that boost by 3000rpm.
How many turns on your actuator btw?
lagging the turbo and up-pipe also helps, but by how much, any numbers?

Paul I done front entry at the same time as exh man and uppipe so sadly don't know which had the biggest effect
I've lost count of how many times I adjusted the actuator The turbo is also fully ported in and out of both air and gas housings which may help ?
