Question

Having just bought my first scooby a MY00, i was wondering if it was just me or a general thing. When the turbo kicks in should the car really shift or and push you back into your seat or should there be a fast steady accelaration?

Smoother kick with the TD04 turbo which you have. TD05's (older cars) give the bigger kick.

99V plate has the same TDO4L turbo as yours mate, maybe it was just better run in or using better fuel or something like that. More likely, you've just got used to it
