Budget dump valve
#1
Am looking for advice on what budget (atmospheric) dump valve to buy?.
Have searched various sites and the two cheapest valves I can find are Forge and Baileys respectively. (Under £150)
Can any one please give me some advice on these two valves i.e. pro's and cons or even point me in another direction as in manufacturer.
You get what you pay for does spring to mind!!!!!
But limited funds unfortunately call the shots..
Thanks Mick.....

i had a bailey on mine and it increased lag by a big amount, as the valve doesnt close immediately when flooring it in gear from low revs.
a mate has one on his toyota mr2 turbo (ahem), and has reconnected his factory one because of the same problem. the bailiey just sits there redundant now.
although i havent used a forge, i have read on scoobynet that a few people use them and are happy, but cant vouch for that.
