will a mid section and b/box from a MY02 (scoobysport) fit or can be made to fit a MY99

Not sure about the mid section, but the back box just needs the mounting(nearest the centre section) turning around.
Not a big job to cut the bracket off and have it welded back on the other side.

You could try phoning Scoobysport and asking them about the centre section.
