Question

Need to fit the delimiter/converter to my 96 wrx.
Only problem is not being the most mechanically minded, I can't actually see the gearbox, not that I've looked to hard!
So any pointers as to where the speedo cable connects to the gearbox?

If you look down past the turbo towards where the gearbox is, you should be able to see it, and or follow the cable

Can get to the gearbox end from under the car (on ramps prefferrably)
Its a 17mm normal RH threaded connector
but need a short 17mm open ended spanner
(an old bicycle sheet metal type spanner worked for me)

You might be better off consulting one of the suppliers of reduction gearboxes first (eg Graham Goode?) as they all seem to fit in different ways

Cheers Stephen,

Small 17mm spanner helped no end, bit of a tight fit under there! Thank god for lead lights and axle stands.
Cursed my self when I found the reducer fitted in the middle of the cable though!
