I have bought a car that has had new pistons at 75k, its a my97 2000 turbo, full scooby service history, and more recipts than you could shake a stick at.
Is this a good sign or a bad one..?. have i bought a stunt drivers car, or one very carefull owners

The 97-98 cars had problems with piston slap due to a manufacturing error, so some had pistons replaced under warranty.

It's most probably fine.
