How easy is it to adjust the clutch biting point? I have a stock 99T Turbo.
My local dealer says "it can't be adjusted - it's hydraulic" Sounds like total c**p to me, I had a squint at the pedal and it looks as though you have 2 adjustments.

Sam,
Where does your pedal sit? Mine (94WRX) is sitting about 1-2 inches lower than the brake pedal (was the first thing i noticed when i test drove it). I always thought it should be level with the brake like just about every other performance car i've driven.
I haven't checked if it can be adjusted yet... i'll have a look later.
cheers,
Marty

Marty - the pedal is about 1/2 inch higher than the brake pedal and it looks as if you can adjust this position by undoing a lock nut and turning a short threaded shaft which bears on the body of the pedal.
The rod that is connected to the pedal and activates the hydraulics is also threaded but difficult to see/get at. I wondered if it had opposite hand threads at each end which meant that if you turned it, it would adjust the biting point position. Has anybody tried this?
There has got to be a way of doing this for a car like a scooby, I had a new clutch recently and it's put the biting point somewhere near the floor - I want it to be much higher up than that......
