Unhappy

Standard 1996 STi Type R/A.

Has an AP paddle clutch in it at the moment which is slipping like crazy.

The question is whether to get another AP fast road (approx £400) or paddle (approx £450), or to replace with a re-manufactured standard 96 STi R/A clutch from Grade-A for less than half the price.

Any experiences?

Slightly baffled as to why the AP has let go ~ the car has only done 30,000 miles ~ so it must have had some serious abuse.
