OBX Intake HELP!!!!

Can anyone help a girl find outhow to put a obx cold air intake into a 2.2l awd subaru impreza...automatic...i tried already and my car would start and then cut off..i had to take the arm off and just leave the filter....Im so lost now....help PLEASE!!!
