sensor on d/p cat,not needed rite?

Question

am i right in saying if a de-cat d/p was fitted to a 95wrx the sensor on the cat does not need to be in the system.and is only connected to warning light not the ecu
just i was told different 2 day and if it is fanny i wont be going back

the sensor you are talking about is a cat temp sensor and no you don,t need it after a de-cat.

i disconected mine at the plug on the inner wing.(my95 wrx )
