Fitted pipercross last December...after a few months had idle probs then low speed running probs followed by 'Game Over' in June

Some say poor filtration, some say oil mist residue, some say vibration to the sensor....I dont have the answer

What I do have is a very secure, non-oiled pipercross and a new MAF sensor

Im in the market for one as well. I think there is only one unit in the market that will not mess up the MAF sensors. My mate has got the K&N unit from Graeme Goode. Spoke to K&N direct & they dont sell one for our model year, which means that they have modified it with the custom kit for our cars.

Anyone wants my Pipercross kit for a '98, never been oiled, only did 4 weeks, can have it for £25 plus p&p.
It's in me garage, in "as new" nick.

Question

Depends what year car you have (MY).
wouldnt go for anything on an MY99/00 onwards as the MAF sensors are very sensitive (unless you get a LINK ecu then you dont have a MAF to naff up )
