I've been running my MY00 on SUL/Optimax for nearly 2k miles but without an ECU reset and only noticed a general improvement in smoothness from the engine - until yesterday, when it suddenly went loopy on me and gave me quite a lot more boost than i've ever had before. I was going to reset the ECU once i've fitted my new exhaust (delayed by a month, long story...) as i'd got it into my head that the reset ECU might notice this along with the fuel change.

I've scanned the threads on Optimax etc and got the impression that the MY00 ECU doesn't pick up on fuel changes without a reset. The weather's just got a lot colder here so denser air maybe but surely that wouldn't make such a difference - would it?Can anyone shed some light on what's going on?
