Can anyone save my sanity?

I know its a well discussed issue but my clutch pedal wil not return fully when being released it stops about 10mm short! There is no loss of power or clutch slip, its just a pain in the back side. Has anyone actually repaired this themselves and could they give me some pointers?

I too have this problem and can't be arsed sorting it out, but would be happy to receive tips

Under the intercooler there is/should be a spring to assist the cluch pedal return!!!
You might be able to see it from the battery side of the car if you look under the intercooler.

I'll try and get some photos! If mines still there!!

I am now having to replace clutch due to same problem thrust bearing broke up.
