That's lovely Hope it's going in a rear engined chassis though
How do you stop the turbo melting the belts? Do you have a picture of exhaust manifold?

Hi,
See http://www.sdsefi.com/air11.html for more info on this project.
Good pictures of an EJ22 stripdown / rebuild, and fabrication of bespoke inlet manifold and other bits.
Cheers,
Alex

Nice.
What is it?
edited to add, I just realised what it is, my dads neighhour has one in a gyrocopter! SOHC engine EJXX engine, explains why it looks so odd.
I think a scoob engine would go lovely in a rear engine cat, just fitting something to lock drive to front diff and you have transaxle.
Pistons? Turbo? Replacement hydraulic pump? Cosworth injectors?

Hi Andy,
Gosh, that looks like the sort of engine that would generate you enough power to become airbourne for more than just regular yumping!
Moray
(Cat left in bag?! )

The things you find whilst surfing on night shift
Just thought the inlet manifold/injectors looked like a reasonable DIY option for the likes of Mr W
The pistons are JE's and supposedly for a turbo motor ??
ps anyone that mailed me for details, this isn't really my new engine.......it's far too conventional
