I live over in the states and haven't been able to find anyone that has done any proting or honing to the heads on the new generation WRX (Our year 2002). Just wanted to know if anyone has had experience with either and what advice they can give. My plan is to just take out the casting flaws on the head and to hone the intake ports and intahe to improve flow velocity. On the exhaust side the same thing along with slightly oversized valves to improve spool-up. Is there any advantage to honing the header.

I have access to the porting and honing equipment for free, but what I'm trying to find is some experience witht the process and the EJ20 engine.
