In a word NO . The 3" version has a flat flange , the other version has a bit of pipe sticking out to hold the gasket to mate to the centre section . You could ask for an adapter to be made to mate the two sections .

I think it might still go together, just wouldn't have the flex joint. bit of goo might sort it for an mot.
Ask scooby sport, as they can arrange MOTs at a local garage with double cat centre.

I am currently running a 3" flat flange downpipe mated to a 2.5" magnex centre section... that combination does work.
Accidentally duplicate a post and the bbs software doesnt let you delete the dupe anymore... thats a shame.
