Prodrive WRSport Vs. Magnex BB?
#1
Hello,
Any facts on which BB is better from a quality/performance standpoint (Price aside)? Prodrive WRsport or Magnex (6x4)
I never see the Prodrive BB talked about here?
Not may people in the USA have Magnex (if any) but the prodrive is very popular.
Thanks,
Brian

Prodrive bb is generally regarded as quite restrictive, however not as much as the standard box. IMO the Magnex 6x4 is not right for a scoob. Dunno why? But this is why i got the Magnex 3.5" round. nice and tidy.

I disagree, I think that the Prodrive BB from the PPP (round pipe) is quite restrictive and quiet but the WR BB (oval pipe) is not. If you look into the WR BB it is the same internal diameter all the way through - basically a perforated tube, so how is that restrictive?

Brun,
I have a 2002 new age impreza WRX and I was told the only Magnex BB that would fit was the 6x4 oval?
Can you post any pictures of yours?
Also,
Which do you guy's think has better quality?
Thanks,
Brian

Sorry no pictures but magnex actually use a scoob with a 6x4 oval tail pipe for a lot of there advertising so check a few sites(demon tweeks etc). I have a full magnex from the turbo back with no resonator and personally wouldnt have anything else. For what you pay, you wont find an exhaust system of the same quality or ease of fitment. This is only my opinon!

I agree with Floyd as he has tried both Prodrive back boxes (the round pipe one from their PPP and the oval pipe WRS version) and so have I.
You guessed, Floyd and I swapped back-boxes.
Cheers,
Richard.

w Hung and Hoppy,
I have a catless system,
Which bb do you guy's think is better quality?
Which do you think has a better sound?
Again pictures would be great!
How would you rate the Prodrive and Magnex Vs the SS for note, sound level and quality?
Thanks,
Brian

Brian, sorry, can't help other than to say the Prodrive boxes are top quality, and so is the SS stuff. I think you can hear the SS system with a sound-clip on their site.
