Has anyone used Morris Lubricant oils?
They produce a competition 10w50 full synthetic oil:
http://www.morrislubricants.co.uk/nonflash/MULTICOMPT.htm
From the back of the tin it gives all the right information and the usual specs:
API SJ,SH/CF; ACEA A3-98/B3-98; CCMC G5, PD-2; MB 229.1; VW 501.01, 505.00.
The grade compares quite well to Mobil 1 Motorsport and Silkolene Pro S. 5 lites of the Morris oil retails at £22 inc VAT which is a considerable discount on the more popular brands even when better since you do not need to buy another tin just to add 1/2 a litre!
From the info on the company they have been in the oil business quite a while and seem to know what they are doing:

They are also on the few companies I have come across that do a 75w90 gear oil in 5 litre containers. Never quite understood why I can only buy Silkolene SYN5 in 1 litre tubs.
Comments, please? Mr Felstead should we get a 5 litre tin FOC and try it in your RA on the track and watch the oil pressure as you fry the stuff? Let me know I will give them a ring if required.
