My 2001 WRX euro import is now out of warranty & I'm about to dip my toes into the world of mods. I was going to start with the complete Scoobysport exhaust and it seems that you would recommend it.

Had this fitted back in May & the"exhaust note"is awesome everytime u plod ur right foot down !! Runs cleaner too & i reckon BHP is up though i've yet to test on a Rollin Road.
Only thing happening now is i'm hitting"Overboost"quite alot,(1.0 bar & above),& its just like hitting a brick wall!!!! hope this is just a slight blockage in Solenoid wastegate pipe & a spray of Brake cleaner will do the trick???Been lots of threads about this, has anyone else suffered the same with this exhaust????If so what was it & whats the remedy??or is it something worse !!!

Is the standard centre section particularly restrictive ?

Stanmo,

Your std centre section will almost certainly contain a cat, by fitting a Scoobysport centre that will remove the cat allowing the exhaust gas to get out of the system a lot quicker thus releasing more power.
