Question

Got myself an air filter, one of these new Blitz Sonic Power filters. Now, although it's not supposed to fit an old shape Impreza, like mine, I'm going to have a go at it.

Getting back to my question, what exactly would I need to do to fit the "correct" air filter to my car ? (MY94 STI 1). If someone can let me know how they fitted they're Blitz/HKS filter, I can use this as a basis for what changes I need to make to mine.

Hi
I have a GGR large K&N which I will get round to fitting sooner or later, but the problem is the early cars have a different offset for the MAF sensor holes. The options you have are to drill your new filter, drill the MAF or you could remove the MAF when you fit the link (the route I have gone down).

Of cours you have to make sure there is room to fit the thing but with that said my GGR cone will go in probs.

Cheers
S
