Gear box Fluid Change?
#2
if you get the car on a ramp, there is a big plug on the bottom of the gearbox, simply undo this and the fluid will drain out.
as with engine oil, best to take the car out for a blast first to heat the oil up, that way, the oil will be thin and drain out quicker, also pulling any crap out with it.
also, wipe the plug before refitting, as it is magnetic and so will hold any metal grains.
to refill, look at the drivers side edge of your intercooler, then look lower down, you will see a dipstick for the gearbox. get a funnel and refill through that hole. the oil is thick, so be patient
think it takes 3.5 -> 4 litres from memory. once you get near that amount, chack the level (on flat ground) by using the dipstick.
job done
cheers
