L means luxury,ford are twisted if they think a fiesta is luxurious

Question

I have seen people with subarus mention about them having a lightweight one. My fiesta is a 1.1L does the L mean lightweight?

Compared to an STi7, a Fiesta is quite definitely lightweight.

I somehow wonder whether this is in the right forum?

Hi, doesn't the 'L' mean 'Loser'? heheh only joking. I thought it either meant 'Litre' or 'L' version as oppose to GLi or GTi, LX, etc.

L is deffo lux model - have you not been in a Popular or Popular plus.

I think the popular had foot operated screen washers - now that's cheap. It's like having to pump up your bike tyres...
