Anyone got any experience of using a high flow sport cat - either in the downpipe or elsewhere?

how long do they last?

can you get them with a warranty?

cheers
Nick

Cool

I've been using the Power Engineering item (in centre section) for a few months and it seems to work fine. It alters the exhaust note slightly as you would expect but was no problem at the MOT on emmisions (with std. ecu in place for the exercise!) It's expensive but keeps you legal.

Why did you get the high flow centre section if you have to swap back to the original ECU for the emission test ?

Is it because you can get at the ECU from the footwell and don't have to get the car on a ramp, and / or to look better in case of a roadside check ?

Milltek also do a high flow centre

I have seen a cross section picture of Audi TT closed cell cat vs Milltek high flow open cell, Milltek did look like it would flow better, would need to test both on a flow bench to get an empirical result
