Hi Everyone!

I have a 1994 Honda Civic LX with 4-speed automatic transmission and 1.5 L Engine (15D). The car runs nice, and the A/T shifts ok too. But since I bought this car I noticed that the A/T makes a little "punch" when I move shifter from D or R to N. Let's see the facts:

Fact 1: when I move shifter from N to R or to D the engaging is smooth.

Fact 2: when I move shifter from R or from D to N the disengaging gives a little "punch".

Fact 3: it just happens if the car is stopped. When I move shifter from R or from D to N with car running, the disengaging is smooth.

This is normal in these cars or it´s a possible problem? Is this a Honda Civic known problem? What's going on??

Thank you!
