Hi,

I have an Autometer Oil temp gauge and i have bought an adaptor plug which replaces the one on cylinder3. the trouble is i cant see where this goes ( to be honest I'm not 100% sure which cylinder No3 is?? ).

could you please let me know exactly what i am supposed to be looking for and if possible send me a picture of its location.

Thanks

Peggy,

If you already have the adaptor, can you please tell me what the external thread is? (ie the thread of the hole in the block that you are asking about).

Cheers,
Andrew...

Thumbs up

Peggy, face your engine bay whilst standing in front of your headlights and look directly down on the intercooler. Then look just in front of the intercooler on the near left hand side of it. You should just be able to see a blanking plug with an allen-key shaped hole in it.

That's the beast you are looking for

It's half buried beneath some intercooler piping and other bits

I believe cylinder No.3 (from memory) is the one nearest the driver (in a RHD car).
