Without having a rolling road done, any ideas what the likely output for my MY00 is with the following attached ?

> Scorpion d/p, Janspeed decat center, Magnex b/b
> ITG panel filter
> Resonator removed
> Iridium Spark plugs
> ECUTek3 (tb fitted this Sunday)

Thanx in advance

In real terms I would think you are looking at 255bhp max

It's a bit tricky to tell as the Tek3 is a 'user defined' map. Or is this the JB 'Scottish' 2.0.5?

Thought I may as well add - decatted, ITG & Tek2, PE figures give approximately 270bhp & 260lbft on a coolish day.

270-280 at PE with the Tek 2.5/3 - it will be setup on your car as required - may be right first time, may need a couple of revisions, I'll do what is needed. Prob 260 at Star as the standard car there does actually read standard.

Woohoo !
Cheers guys, was estimating about 260bhp myself.
Personally, top end isn't really a priority for me, I just love torque and smooth delivery.

Can't wait for Sunday!!!

She's a feisty little thing, love her to bits.

you are better to look at wheel figures for Star,as jim shuts down when "wheel peak" is reached, just make sure you are comparing with other uk spec cars.my car has been there twice,on the second day I asked jim to rev her right to 6500rpm,the wheel power was similar to the first day as was the torque but the flywheel gained about 15bhp.I would say at this time of year if it's a warm day 155bhp@wheels would be acceptable with above this a bonus.

nice car by the way

However, the PAW is not to DIN specification and has no temperature compensation, is dependent on transmission losses, tyre pressure, contact patch, tyre wear, position on the rollers etc etc. However, the IAT figures were a bit random before so the compensation could be off. I don't think the case is closed as to what figure to use, whatever the losses are probably excessive given the double contact with each wheel on each roller, and the airflow, cooling and commonly used rev limits are not high enough to get good figures of any variety. With the uncontrolled variables the season will affect your reading more than a lot of modifications will.

From road behaviour I reckon mine would keep increasing flywheel power to 6700 RPM at least now, but it is whether the airflow and cooling on the dyno would replicate this.

that was not the best day to compare flywheel figures as a few of the cars had asked for 6500rpm runs, such as john banks who always needs the big figures when it suits him ,he got over 290bhp at PE you know .

true, better by seat of pants and a long straight at K/hill to see how good,or how useless that new mod is.

same for all the other big turbo nutters so stop the girlie excuses .
