Just looked at the ECUTEK website, and was shocked to see the price of a TEK1 @ £150 pluss VAT.

This is very tempting, but how hard are they to fit. Also I thought it needed RRoading after fitting.

Shall I buy one ?

Tek1 easy to fit.
But only buy if you have an AE802 ECU! (The green one ) - it's what it's meant to fix!

Is it possible to have one of these fitted to an MY01 (Bug eyed) car ?

Nope - wouldn't be a lot of point anyway!
I know that the code is being worked on for the fugly, but isn't ready yet. And I suspect there would only be the equivalent of the Tek2 (improved map) or Tek3 (personal map). Which are both rather more expensive
