ITG Filter

Do any of you guys use the Itg filter, was the improvement noticable , was it easy to fit , or would you go for a full induction kit????
I posted a thread the other day about a hesitation at high revs!! turns out the oil pump has now given up and *ucked the crank. I have now been told that this is a common fault with the early Impreza..... be aware!!!!!

On STI VII , boost comes in a good 500rpm lower with K&N flat panel . Have personally had bad experiences with induction kits . Blown 2 x maf both times I tried it ! (different cars - using Blitz and MRT units) Also don't like the bleed sound from the dump valve of the intercooler sound at all . For that reason alone I suggest flat panel . My brother sums it up nicely , intake helps spoolup , decat = power .
Enjoy whichever route you take .

I chucked one in (MY 95) and to be honest, didn't notice a difference apart from a slight increase in induction noise, nothing too obscene. I'd like to think it's faster or spool-up is earlier but I really can't say.
Even so, it can't have been a bad move and for $140, who cares.
