Stopped today outside a mates house whilst I put a card through the door, left the engine running. Set off up the road at full chat. Suddenly got this horrible smell of burning oil. This then passed. Pottered through town to another friends house who pointed ou that I had blue smoke comming from the zorst. Revved the engine, more blue smoke. Checked the oil, allmost none. Went to halfords bought some more oil filled it up. Drove 50miles home.
Parked on drive, revved engine, no smoke. Revved it quite hard, no smoke.

Any ideas?

 

Just checked the oil again, there now seems to be way, way too much. Approx 0.5" above the full mark on the dip stick.
