have a sti 6 and have been offered a complete janspeed system for approx 300 quid. I have not heard of too may discussions on these exhausts as it tends to be all tsl/s sport/s mania exhaust discussions; are janspeed good/too noisy/poorer quality than others? anyone out there have one?

Janspeed always reminded me of flatulent MK2 escorts but recently got one for my Elise and its a great bit of kit, so maybe their recent stuff is a lot bettre then my memories of them, Peco and Cherry Bombs...

Suggest you look at Stainless systems and at 300 it sounds like this one probably isnt...

Convential wisdom is Scoobysport, TSL, Scoobymania, Magnex, HKS etc (not a complete list of course)

Jon.

Thumbs up

I had a complete system on a Mk1 MR2 I had a few years ago, it was a great bit of kit and sounded terrific, deep and not too loud. Also it produced about 10%more horsepower and torgue. It was well made too, so I was very pleased with it. I live in Salisbury where they are made, so I was allowed to look around the factory while it was fitted, it seemed like a very impressive oufit.
