NOT BEING OVERLY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT ENGINES-BUT I KNOW MY IMP.SPORT IS NOT FAST ENOUGH.I WAS WONDERING IS IT POSIBLE TO GET A TURBO KIT FOR MY CAR OR FIT A TURBO SYSTEM STRAIGHT FROM A WRX WITH NOT TOO MANY PROBLEMS...I REALLY NEED HELP I CANT AFFORD TO GET A NEW CAR,THIS SEEMS THE ONLY OPTION.....

You might as well buy cheap WRX, the effort involved would be prety big. Intercooler, piping, turbo, etc... Not sure whether the block is identical in a sport, but may not take the pressure.

Insurance would probably go through the roof too.

I would leave it.

agree with DBM,

much cheaper and better to just buy a wrx.

You can buy turbo engines complete for about 1k plus vat but then you need chassis looms and ecus. plus suspension and brake mods to cope etc.

It simply isnt worth the change.

bugger not quite the answer i was hopeing for.. but what i had expected.back to the drawing board.
